• TAAHSR (Texas Adolescent Athlete Heart Screening Registry): Served as a volunteer heart screening of a target of 10,000 young athletes between ages 14-18 in Texas to detect cardiac abnormalities and help prevent sudden cardiac death.
• QI Project: Leader of a group of residents for a Quality Improvement Project at Brackenridge Hospital to reduce the number of re-admissions of patients in a 30 day period from their discharge.
