Awarded the Most Innovative Business on behalf of CIVAGRIEC at the 2019 GreenEnterPrize Innovation Challenge run by the International Labour Organisation in Zimbabwe. The award recognised CIVAGRIEC’S efforts for introducing the first commercial hand-powered baler in Zimbabwe.
Environmental Stewardship & Sustainability Innovation Award CIVAGRIEC was awarded the environmental award by the Environmental Management Agency (EMA) for developing the baler and putting it to use to clean up city spaces were grass had been cut and lay idle.
