Assistant Resident Engineer

Working as Assistant Resident Engineer for Construction of 8-lane section (4 in each direction) with additional Collectors/Distributor roads, frontage roads and ramps, the project will include the footways and cycle way. Orbital Highway, C-1 project in Doha, State of Qatar for a length of 45 Kms. Project Cost: 3.262 Billion QAR.

Assisting the RE/SRE in performing the assigned duties in the Contract for the Works.

Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports against the approved base line programme and target programs and taking steps to ensure compliance with the Programme.

Identifying the defective works and enforcing the Contractor (by verbal instructions and raising NCR.s) to rectify the defective works as per approved method statements.

Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).

Worked as an ARE on the Ajman Sewerage System. Construction of a centralized waste water collection network and treatment system in the city of Ajman, which consists of a network of gravity sewers around 240km, a series of 22 pumping stations, and treatment plant in addition of Emergency disposal pressure line to deliver treated effluent. This was Dhs 900 Million project. It was a DBO (Design, Build and Operate) project and we have successfully given connection to more than 12000 plots in city of Ajman.

1) Office works.

a) Technical Submittals review - Shop drawings, Method of statements, Material submittals, QA/QC plan, programmed works, Monthly valuation, Calculation the forecast quantities

b) Preparation of Reports - Weekly reports, and construction status reports. Monthly report (progress), other technical report as required

Laying of 400, 600 & 700 mm Ø GRP Trunk line.

Laying of 225 & 160 mm Ø UPVC Pipe-works for 22 Km and 450 Manholes both precast and cast in suit manholes.

Project for the Construction of 400 mm Ø GRP Irrigation Pipeline at Western Parallel Road in Abu Dhabi for a length of around 11 km with 31 Chambers (Air valve, Flow-meter and Washout chambers).

Project for the Construction of new Reservoirs and refurbishment of old Reservoirs as per the condition of reservoir (including various concrete repairs and protection techniques) and construction of their Pump stations all over Abu Dhabi and all related chambers and pipeline.

Execution of infrastructure works like, sewerage networks (both pressure & gravity) irrigation networks, & storm water lines with GRP, uPVC, R.C pipes & construction of manholes, chambers.

Construction of Irrigation reservoirs, sewerage pumpstations, MCC buildings.

All site works are executed after the completion of the demarcations, setting out surveying, approval of shop drawings, material approvals, method statements etc.
