Keda (Kenya) Ceramics Company Limited is the largest ceramic tile manufacturing company in Kenya. The company deals with production of ceramic tiles (Tywford, Micasso, and Sawasawa). Reporting to the team leader and assistant head of department, gas station I carry out the following duties;

Plan and schedule for machine inspection and service for overhead electric crane, pumps, hydraulic station and cylinders

Develop standard operating procedures and work instructions for machine operations

Diagnose and correct malfunction in mechanical systems

Ensure that all procedures within the company conform to health and safety regulations

Laboratory test of synthetic gas produced

Chemelil Sugar Company Limited is a state corporation that produce mill white sugar. The company’s milling capacity is 135TCH. The company is engaged in sugarcane growing, processing and marketing of sugar.

Reporting to the area engineers; Pre mills, Mills, Boilers and water treatment, Power house, Sugar house and factory workshop I carried out the following duties:

Cane quality management in the cane yard and maintenance of the cane preparation equipment (Crane, feed table, auxiliary cane carriers, choppers, cane knives, conveyors and main cane carriers)

Performing internal administrative responsibilities including writing reports, engineering drawings

Maintenance of boilers, centrifugal pumps and air compressors
