Synthesis of Perbutyric acid by using Continuous micro reactor.

Description:

In this project we synthesized perbutyric acid using butyric acid and hydrogen peroxide as reactants in a continuous micro reactor.

Perbutyric acid is employed commonly in the chemical, paper, textile, medical and food industries for bleaching, chemical processing and disinfection.

INTERNSHIP:

Internship on Chemical Process Technology through online, conducted by IICHE.

Responsibilities:

Solutions prepared with chemicals based on their molarities and volume.

Calculations on conversion of perbutyric Acid.

Plotted graphs on the residence time and conversion.

Collected introduction about Perbutyric Acid which was mentioned in Thesis.
