The Midlands State University is a fully–fledged University founded in 2000. Its programmes primarily focus on the human resource needs of Zimbabwe’s Industry, Commerce and Public sectors. One of these programmes is the Bachelor of Commerce – Retail and Logistics Management Honours degree. The degree programme equips students with the necessary theoretical and practical requirements of the business profession. We call upon your organization to consider being involved in the practical development of the above student.

If the student is accepted, it is hoped he/she can be placed in the logistics and supply chain management department and preferably be exposed to all sections of this department. The student is expected to experience life as an employee – of the organization. This means that the student is expected to respect working hours, dress code, the firm’s ethics etc.

The student is required to write a Work Related Report during his/her internship. The Work Related Learning period and preparation of the Work Related Learning report are a requirement for all the programmes offered by the University.

If the student is accepted he/she will be with the organization for twelve (12) months commencing from the 1st of August 2021 to the 31st of July 2022.
