Orchestrated the efforts of a diverse group of experts to change the design basis of the Trans-Alaska pipeline from an “OPEN FLOW” to a “BACK PRESSURE” control system. $12 million project brought in for $9 million. Very high profile and very public.
Planned, developed procedures and supervised “Hot Tie-ins” of 60-inch gas pipelines to the largest natural gas handling facility in the world. 100% safe and successful installation.
Acted as Incident Commander in the Incident Command System format for many potentially volatile incidents.
Led the team that aided in the installation and setup of Exxon’s Hondo Platform. 100% successful. At the time, Hondo was the deepest offshore oil platform in the world.
