This degree entailed four taught modules and a research module. The modules were directed towards research and writing to assist our own research. My research and fieldwork was done at a recycling facility for five weeks, where I worked as a waste sorter and researcher. We were introduced to formal academic settings by attending workshops every three months and I presented a paper at a conference, ASNA at Nelson Mandela University (2019).
