Projects: Insecticide Spraying Drone (Spring Semester 2021)

• Designed and built a functional insecticide spraying mechanism that can be mounted to a drone and can be used to vertically spritz wasp or hornet hives at elevated heights

• Utilized a linear actuator, a 3D printed lever and top clamp, a mechanical solid- state relay, and a controller to create the insecticide spraying mechanism Ultrasonic Collar (Spring Semester 2021)

• Developed an ultrasonic collar that would be able to detect solvent content in polymers used in pharmaceutical tablets

• Applied research demonstrating a relationship between ultrasonic velocity and solvent content
