Module Name: Clinical Indicators

Clinical Indicators are a visual representation of the latest clinical status of an Inpatient or an Outpatient. These are basically rules set with different criteria for the available functionalities which on display or projection tells the care provider the current status of patients against the rules. “RAGG” (traffic light) indicators across the

application show clinicians and supporting staff whether treatment is on track. Monitoring is integrated with the planning process and is based on staged pathway

principles. This ensures that each stage, e.g., diagnostic, intervention, and follow-up care, is planned correctly. Patient choice is supported to reduce “Did Not Attends” and to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.

Module Name: Clinical Charts

Clinical Charts is a historical view of the document, notes or forms generated for that patient based on the configuration. A care provider instead of visiting separate places he could view the details all in one place in the order of creation or modification. Hence the history of the patient can be viewed from the clinical charts.

Module Name: Structured Care Plan

Care plan is a nursing solution which comprises of problem (referred as Need in Lorenzo), goals and activities. It is signed and time-stamped when applied to a specific individual patient, though it can also exist as a template. A care plan consists of an intended set of interventions that have a direct clinical effect to change, support or maintain the patient. Instantiation of the care plan is the act of creating a care plan for a patient. This may be achieved through using an existing template or by creating an ad hoc care plan. Once the care plan is created, the activities planned can be evaluated by the nurse while he or she will be in the ward shift.

Module Name: Clinical Narrative Services

The Clinical Narrative Services (CNS) tool is a word processing that is used to capture and record clinical information. It can be (Appointment letter, Cancel Appointment letter, Discharge Summary, Prescription, Annotated Report etc.). A clinical document that contains clinical information about a patient. These documents are used as references by care providers to provide quality care. Clinical documents can range from patient appointment confirmation letter to patient discharge summary. All the health related issues faced by a patient like problem, procedure, allergy, and alert will be recorded. If the patient informs the care provider of recent symptoms of his disease, and the care provider decides that this would be useful and relevant information to record within the patient record. Health issues allow the user to record Problems for the patient during an inpatient stay and is noted by a care provider that the patient has developed a rash where Elastoplast’s has been applied.

Module Name: Enterprise Objects

This module will have the full organization structure and trusts under the National Health Service. Enterprise Objects is a module which contains configuration of User Management, Terminology Services and Security Management in system configuration application (Sysconfig). This is the main base of Sysconfig application which will be used to Organizations, Create Logins, Roles, Role Profiles, Teams, Service Points, Locations, Security Groups and Permissions.
