Project Title : Overview of refinery

Description : I tried to relate everything that I had learnt in my college. As I am a chemical engineer, my main subjects were Heat transfer operation, Mass transfer operation, Petrochemicals and refinery Products etc. I tried to relate the theories of those subjects with the equipment there. And provided hands-on assistance with challenging projects to chemical engineers and learned the structure of the department, problem-solving methods and job purposes of staff members in a typical Indian refinery.

Description : Led a team of 3 and was instrumental in creating a working model for the production of Methane gas from organic waste, in order to find a sustainable fuel source as well as to manufacture organic chemicals. And to ensure the maximum usage of waste produced in rural areas, for a proper waste management.

Major Project Aug,2019 – April,2020

Institution : University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, India Mentor : Mr. Manash Protim Mudoi, Assistant Professor,UPES. Project Title : Design and Simulation of Knock-out drum for flare system. Description : Was a key player in designing a efficient knock-out drum. Volunteered to lead a team of 4, to simulate a knock-out drum in Aspen Hysis and to understand its mechanics, uses, functioning, etc. An optimization model is built up that predicts separator execution subject to nonlinear plan limitations.

Participated in Personality Enhancement Program held at UPES.

Successfully completed Professional Software Training (PST) Program in MATLAB at UPES.
