Proper reporting to senior staffs and nursing superintendent.
IV infusion, blood transfusion, O2 administration, Suctioning, Steam Inhalation, Nebulization, Catheterization, Riles Tube Insertion, Dressing.
Accompany the doctors for ward’s rounds.
Giving medicines and injections as per doctor’s advice.
Charting of injections and medicines.
Nasogastric feeding, monitoring intake output chart.
Monitoring vital signs.
Monitoring head injury chart.
Maintaining strict isolation nursing for all patients in adherence with ward policy.
Education of patients and relatives regarding the illness.
Participation in staff education and staff meeting.
Maintain a good rapport with patients and relatives.
Checking up of emergency tray and emergency equipment’s.
Meet the basic needs of the patients including hygienic or comfort measures.
Insertion of nasogastric tube for aspiration or feeding.
IV cannulation.
Maintaining records and reports.
Administration of Narcotics as per doctor’s order.
Maintaining the equipments in working condition.
