Cy-Fair HS Yearbook — Editor, Editor-in-Chief

AUGUST 2018 - AUGUST 2021

During these past years, I had spent hours editing tirelessly, but still somehow enjoying it due to my supportive and hilarious sta, who never let me down, by the way. I poured my heart and soul into three 350-page books, overseeing grammar, capitalization, photo editing, visual elements, name correction, and so much more. With my experience, I’ve not only improved my organizational skills, but also I have gained a keen eye for mistakes in writing and grammar and such.

Connected — Cy-Fair Yearbook VOL. 79

With whom I consider the “Original Editors,” I helped create this medium gray, soft-touch yearbook. Inside are memories from what I remember as my sophomore year, but seniors of ‘19 probably hold it more deeply, as the book was more focused around them, as most of Cy-Fair’s yearbooks are.

Clearly, This Is Our Time — Cy-Fair Yearbook VOL. 80 This book displays a strange cover, as one half of it is opaque maroon, and the other half of the cover is plexiglass, letting a clock design and the title of the book peek through from the first page. This brightly-colored book highlights the last year before COVID-19 o cially took over everyone’s lives, featuring the neon-themed homecoming parade and the one time the drum line gave everyone powder cannons in the audience and we somehow managed to get the perfect picture; this was the best yearbook I had helped create.

Glitch was the book that I completely created myself; I picked the fonts, as well as the elements of design, not to mention the hours of work I slaved over creating the idea for the cover-a computer screen that had just been SKILLS

Though I did create this book, I could not have done it without the help of my sta, as I mostly oversaw the Senior Ads my last year of high school. This book presents life during COVID-19 and how even though our lives may seem to have all fallen apart, they fell apart together.
