Salaried GP, Grove Park Surgery February 2018 – Current

- 6 sessions a week. Including telephone triage, remote video consulting, home visits, acute on call and routine clinics.

- 6 week baby checks, sexual health checks, contraception, men’s health including prostate screening, smears, medication reviews, all chronic disease monitoring including diabetes reviews.

- PCN (Primary Care Network) link doctor 2018-2020. Involved in audit and quality improvement activities.

- Mental health lead with annual reviews of patients with complex mental health problems.

- Regular supervision of medical students, junior doctors and GP registrars. Clinical teaching, tutorials, assessments and portfolio work. Special interests:

- Women’s and sexual health with a diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. Foundation course in STIs from The British Association of Sexual Health and HIV (BASHH).

- Implant and Coil fitting for 6 years.

- Medical education. Qualified as a Foundation year 2 supervisor and currently finishing course to be a GP registrar supervisor.

- Ardens are a Healthcare informatics company which improve patient safety by providing support to GP surgeries across the country. As a clinical content designer I design and update templates which are used in consultations using EMIS web. This work combines continuing professional development and IT skills. This role has enabled me to stay up to date with new guidelines which has been invaluable throughout the covid pandemic.
