Title : Lost foam casting technology.

In the current project work alloyed grey iron air nozzle casting produced with uniform wall thickness by full mould casting process. The uniform thickness of the nozzle casting, without central core shifting is made possible. The nozzle casting is alloyed with chromium to increase the wear resistance. Over all life of the nozzle casting is improved. The EPS pattern material is used as pattern material to the shape of the nozzle and full moulding is done. The DBC is used to melt iron and the liquid grey iron metal is treated with chromium and poured in full mould to burn the pattern to get the nozzle casting.
