March 2007 to present
Performed assigned projects and completed checklists in an efficient and accurate manner. Directed and supervised employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking and reconciling cash receipts. Resolved customer problems by investigating issues, answering questions and building rapport. Worked closely with the district manager to formulate and build the store brand. Plainly put, I ordered, hired, trained, wrote schedule, did period sales forecasting, all administration tasks/duties, merchandised, unloaded and put trucks away within same day of arrival. In addition, I have a deep knowledge of both produce and meat departments, of a profit and loss statement and possess shrink/loss prevention acumen.

Activities and Honors
Won many awards/honors in my 14 1/2 years with Save-A-Lot. 1) Became the fastest assistant-to-store manager in Ohio division history when I was promoted after 7 months in 2007.
1) Was twice the most profitable store in Ohio division (out of 65 stores in Cleveland/Akron/Canton market.) 2) Was routinely among the top three in lowest labor percentage. 3) Routinely among the top five in customer perception audits and food safety audits. 1) Became one of only 4 training store managers (out of 65) and I was the FIRST ever manager given this role. Hand-picked dozens of candidates, literally at minimium wage/entry level, trained and promoted to front end, shift lead, assistant manager and in some cases, ultimately, to store manager. Additionally, I was given dozens more trainees from other stores to train, promote and send back to their "home" stores.
