Objective/career Goals:

● My career goals are to obtain a full-time po position in the Security or Intelligence field because I would like to protect people from being targeted by the terrorists and their allied. After September 11, 2001 attacks by the terrorists, I decided to find a way of being able to protect people from those kinds of attacks. That led me to do a research to find a school that will teaches me about how to protect people from terrorist threats and I found the American Public University to be related to what I was looking for and I started with my military leadership certificate, after obtaining my certificate in the Military Leadership, I decided to pursued my Bachelor Degree in intelligence studies and I chose to concentrate in the counterintelligence program whwqich I had enjoyed studied in the last four years. After research the role of counterintelligence in the intelligence filed, I thought that is right for me to be able to protect people and their properties. I really love this filed and the knowledge that I had gained from this filed is critical to my idea of wanting to protect people from threats and dangers. I have never work in the filed yet, but I think my knowledge from this program will give me an opportunity to fulfil my career goals so that I will be able to get the job in the field of the studies to gain experience and advance my knowledge in the intelligence in field. Since the intelligence career is not so difference from the security, I decided to gain experiences by started working as a licensed Security Officer or Professional. But after completing my degree in the intelligence field, I will start applying for posting jobs so that I can lent my foot on the door. I learned that it is not easy to lend the job right away after graduated and obtained the degree. For example, after graduating from the community College and obtained my associate degree, I was excited and hoping to find the job in the field right away. However, it turns out that the employers need an employee with experiences. I tried to volunteer in the hospital but still not enough. So now, I will do what it takes to gain experience so that I will be able to obtain a job in the intelligence. Maybe volunteering for many give enough to qualify the job. EDUCATION
