WORK EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Managing Partner / Cedars Chiropractic Clinic: focused on Spinal Healthcare and Functional Medicine providing Chiropractic care, Clinical Nutrition, vitamin deficiency testing, delayed allergy and food hypersensitivity testing, neurotransmitter and hormone testing, leaky gut testing assessing pathogenic bacteria, parasites, viruses, and Fungi. Participated in over twenty-five medical panels in the last five years with medical doctors, pharmacists and healthcare professionals educating the community on the importance of evidence based customized nutrition.

Scientist Specialist: International Space Station; Crew Health Care Systems (CHeCS) Medical Laboratory Manager (Jacobs/JSC/NASA). Shuttle Transition And Retirement (STAR); Developed intubation Kit; worked with pharmacists to assess, certify and pack drugs in medical kits, developed, certified and pack surgical kits; and, worked with audiologist to conduct hearing assessment on Astronauts and create specialized and customized earplugs for use on the international space station.

Former City Council member: Macro managed a City with a fast growing population of 60,000 residents, and a budget of $65 - $80 million. Engaged leadership skills for short term and longterm planning, promoting and managing growth while maintaining a balance between residential and commercial development. Conducted Budget Workshops for all city departments and implemented short term as well as longterm Capital Improvement Projects. Served on Audit and Finance Committee (see more details below). Held extensive conference meetings and negotiations with residential and commercial developers and builders. Served on Tax Increment Reinvestement Zone (TIRZ) Board in League City.

City Liasion – Served as the Liaison between the City and Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC), a regional organization through which local governments consider issues and cooperate in solving area wide problems. Through H-GAC, local governments also initiate efforts in anticipating and preventing problems, saving public funds. The 13- county H-GAC service region is growing, becoming more diverse, and constantly changing. In order to address the needs of citizens and businesses, local governments are providing leadership to guide regional development wisely and manage change constructively.
