Work an established list/queue of accounts. Receives calls, makes outbound calls, and sends email/text communications to clients to discuss delinquent accounts and to make payment arrangements.

Resolve inquiries, and negotiates payment arrangements to cure delinquent accounts. Understands and educates clients on account terms and payment methods. Navigate a computerized data entry system and other relevant applications, while staying within regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Contact delinquent clients in order to secure payment and determine reason for delinquency. Analyze credit, imaged documents, and collection comments on delinquent accounts. Initiate collection form letters.

Document and summarize discussions regarding the member’s account, using the company's collections software.

Discuss collection strategies and recommends payment plans and/or extension requests to help determine appropriate action. Propose repossession or legal action when appropriate. Initiate skip trace action to obtain additional information on members. Contact references and other lenders for additional information to determine the member’s financial situation and determine location.

Develop contacts for future dealings.

Review and research vehicle impound notices. Contact storage locations and members to determine if vehicle needs to be repossessed.

Review collateral accounts, and prepare and work all accounts through the repossession process. Ensure full compliance with State and Federal guidelines and other relevant laws and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
