●Sorted thousands of images from trail cameras in order to locate those which included the intended subject and provide a population index; published as a co-author on the resulting paper.

●Analyzed trail camera data to track changes in weather patterns, date, time, and presence of animals to create a spreadsheet in Excel for the use of the lab manager.

●Assisted in counting living wood frog specimens to prepare an experiment in which the natural conditions of the subject animal were replicated using mesocosms.

●Performed field work including nighttime stream sampling of local salamander species using kick nets.

●Utilized the application ImageJ to take and record measurements of larval salamanders via lab photographs to compare two study species’ overall growth in many shared pond environments.

●Conducted extensive experiments on the response of spotted salamanders from 6 different populations to 3 hydroperiods of varying intensity with the help of other undergraduate students.
