Director of Nursing for a busy multi-specialty 3 OR / 1GI ambulatory surgery center for SCA. Surgical services provided include general, breast cancer, orthopedics, total joint, hand, GYN, GI, urology, cardiovascular, pediatric urology, and podiatry. My duties include leading and coordinating the clinical operations of the daily surgery schedule with a case volume of 400-500 surgical procedures per month. Liaison and coordinate with the doctors to meet their needs as they utilize the facility. Also facilitate the needs of the patients and their families during their experience at our center. Direct supervision of 35 staff members including scheduling, daily staffing, payroll, staff meetings, HR issues, in-service education and evaluations.
