Overseen various work of journeyman level mechanics, technicians and craftsmen that function independently within their area of expertise in the repair of equipment and facilities to complete various projects at Mountain Home and in the Mountain Home catchment area. Troubleshoot and identify necessary repairs on various building systems as necessary to maintain normal clinic operations. Served as the first responder to calls from facility administration for engineering assistance after normal working hours. Independently triages, troubleshoots, and repairs, or calls in additional resources as needed.
The projects were supervised and comprised of varying numbers of Journeyman level trades personnel at various grade levels to include: WG-11 Electronics Industrial Controls Mechanic, WG-10 Welder, WG-10 Pipefitter, WG-10 Maintenance Mechanic (Electronics/Electrician), WG-10 Maintenance Mechanic (HVAC Controls Technician), WG-10 Maintenance Mechanic (Carpenter Painter), WG-10 Laundry Mechanic, WG-10 Maintenance Mechanic (Mason/Welder), WG-9 Maintenance Mechanic (Plumber/Painter), WG-9 Painter and WG-10 Locksmith.
