It’s my pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Litha Qashane. As Litha’s direct manager at Abagold, I’ve worked closely with him over his apprentice period at the company. Litha shows excellent communication skills and consistently exceeds company KPIs. Litha is hard working and gets along well with his co-workers, both qualities that have served him well in his role as ulva dam technician.

I would like to point out three examples of Litha’s strengths. Firstly, Litha brought great value to Abagold by taking over the maintenance lead for the ulva dams. Abagold benefits from his efforts through experiencing fewer breakdowns and enjoying improved plant performance, thereby saving on maintenance costs and improving the quality of our operations outputs.

Secondly, Litha has proven himself to be a strong cultural fit at Abagold. He’s always ready to lend a helping hand to his teammates by serving on the technical standby team. The standby team provides emergency response / breakdown intervention service to the most critical company assets. Litha’s presence on this team is testimony to the high levels of trust awarded to him (especially to a junior staff of member / student / apprentice).

Lastly, Litha has been instrumental in driving the department’s Mini Business Unit (MBU) to a point whereby for the first time since its inception, the department has received an outstanding audit rating from his efforts.

In closing, I’d like to recommend Litha for any opportunity both in the organisation and within the greater labour market.
