PERFORMANCE OF DIESEL ENGINE
USING BIODIESEL WITH NANO
ADDITIVES
This project analyses the performance,
combustion and emission characteristics of
diesel engine using Diesel with Nano-additive
Titanium Dioxide, Fatty acid Methyl Ester,
Triton X 100 and H2 O.
DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF
FIXTURE FOR DRIVE ADAPTOR PLATE
IN NEPTUNE ENGINE TESTINGat

The main objective of this project is to reduce
the time taken for assembling and
disassembling process of drive adaptor plate in
engine test bed by designing a fixture with
sliding option. Mild steel which has iron carbon
alloy less than 0.25% is chosen for the fixture
because it has the property of less brittle in
nature and has ductile. Hence the material can
hold more load before yielding and it is
corrosion resistant. The analysis is carried out in ANSYS workbench 14.5 in order to verify the
dimension, that is the designed fixture can hold
the load or not.
DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF
CENTRIFUGAL BLOWER FOR DUST
COLLECTION
The main of this project is to collect chalk dust
fumes using a centrifugal blower to reduce dust
particles that are inhaled.
Industrial visit and Conference:
Industrial visit to Diamond Engineering at Mambakkam and Samuel industries at Oragadam to learn about Steel fabrication
Attended conference about transition of BS-IV to BS-VI Engine conducted by Ford.
