Physical Therapy - I have enjoyed all of the various jobs as a Physical Therapist Assistant being able to continually learn from all of my experiences have helped me succeed in providing optimal care for all patients I come in contact with.

Medicare And Medicaid- with each position I have been able to learn more about Medicare & Medicaid rules and regulations regarding billing and services coverage.

Goals And Objectives-As a Physical Therapist Assistant I am constantly assessing the objectives set by the Physical Therapist and each visit working to progress towards goals set by Physical Therapist. Keeping in common with the Physical Therapist for assessment and changing goals & objectives as needed for optimal outcomes for the patients

Written And Verbal Communication- my entire 30 years this is the most important part of providing physical therapy services for the important fact “if it wasn't written in progress note, it did not happen”. This can effect reimbursement to the company and the care by nursing, case management & doctors.

Safety Procedures- I take pride for following all of the safety rules and regulations while providing therapy services and also part of my therapy is teaching safety to all the patients in all situations.

Patient Care- I love helping patients with their weaknesses and seeing the progress they make under my instruction. Seeing patients succeed and overcome obstacles with providing compensatory strategies is so rewarding to me

Home Care- providing therapy services in patients home is my favorite job of my career. Working with patients in their own space is so important to actually see their everyday obstacles and what we actually need to work on to return to living independently.

Orthotic Devices-Working in the long term care facilities I was able to work closely with DME companies to provide orthotic devices for contractures and bed sores. Also working with amputees & residual limbs and braces for legs and arms with adults and pediatrics have given me experience with orthotic devices.

Therapeutic Treatment- I excel in providing Therapeutic Treatments with each session to slowly progress each patient based on their individual needs and goals

Customer Service- I take pride of constantly providing optimal customer service with each therapy session to make sure I communicate with patients and families, Doctors and nursing and answering questions the best of my ability and asking someone if I don't know the answer.
