Fortune 500 Sector: Redesigned Corporate P2P Network to layer 2 VPLS Network with OSPF, utilizing CISCO 6509, 3750, AND 2900 SERIES appliances. Network Incorporated A one to Many source NAT configuration with Aventail SONICWALL layer 2 VPN technologies. Additional projects include the redesign of a GLOBAL service provider offering of UTILITY COMPUTING with customer access through Dell DRAC appliances remotely accessed through ASA 5510. Pre design entailed ASA, along with 3750 and 2600 on the backend and and CISCO 7204 as internet connectivity. The redesign mandated increased port density and less appliances, along with scalability. My design incorporated a 7204 on the front internet connection, Along with a 7609 on the backend corporate network with provided increased port density, bandwidth and security through it ACL capabilities, while getting rid of the 2600, 3750 and the ASA. This design met the requirement of the CEO’s Mandated infrastructure changes which were incorporated based upon the available equipment within the corporate surplus.
Infrastructure: Led comprehensive infrastructure upgrades and migrations of CISCO ASA firewall to PALO ALTO 5000 series NGFW, and FORTINET fortigate series Firewalls (e.g., firewall/VPN upgrades, Software CODE upgrades and router refresh projects for various midsize and large companies.
