I completed all * years of high school in 2016 thus getting my diploma. In addition to this I graduated with 2 college credits for taking ap physics. I started working almost as soon as I graduated. The first company that I worked for in the plant was Brand, here I learned about the coatings needed for certain types of materials running through the pipe. I worked here for almost 2 years. I wanted to improve my skills so I moved on to Top Coat where I improved my painting skills and learned how to do metal shop work. This journey only lasted me about 7 months before I got laid off due to lack of work. A couple of months later I joined Ics in the plant once again but here I entered as general helper. As a general helper I got to work with the PipeFitters, and the boilermakers. This job really helped me gain much more experience in the metal and pipe industry, and knowing what type of pipe needs what type of gasket and bolts etc. I gained my forklift license, jlg license, twic card.
