List of responsibilities during Experience

During above mentioned experience,

I am responsible for supervising and managing the daily work activities of the relevant section(s) in the Radiology department to ensure timely patient access to quality clinical imaging services in accordance with professional standards.

I have performed a variety of complex imaging procedures for medical diagnostic or interventional therapeutic purposes for example

In Radiography (x-rays) department, all types of x-rays are performed during my job.

Fluoroscopic procedures like Barium swallow, barium Meal, Barium enema, MCUG, IVP procedures are performed.

CT scan and MRI is my specialty and my 100 % interest is in MDCT and MRI department as compare to radiography and fluoroscopy procedures. I have also assist CT/MRI guided biopsies with radiologist and angiographies of all regions CT scan.

In addition, special MRI examination like MRA MRV and MRCP also be performed during my job experience.

As in charge in radiology department, I have responsible for patient information registry and report preparation, equipment maintenance, quality assurance and other duties as relevant.

Manages the staffing schedules for all technical staff

Manages staff performance and orientation in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.

Ensure patients are correctly identified and informed about the imaging procedure that is being performed.

Undertakes annual staff performance and competency assessments in accordance with departmental and corporation requirements.

Assume responsibility for patient safety to minimize unnecessary procedures, and maintain patient exposure to ionizing radiation

Correctly apply radiation protection devices (collimation, lead apron, shielding etc.), to avoid exposure to areas of the body not being studied.

After performing scan in radiology department, send radiology images and clinical information by Picture Archive & Communication System (PACS), or manual paperwork.
