Description of the Project

Payment plan allows customers who currently have a past due balance and are struggling to make payments, create a payment arrangement to spread payments out over a period of time. During the set-up process, they will be asked to provide their banking information, as a down payment is required along with a number of months. They can either pay using Western union credit cards or using their bank accounts. They will get 30 days as a gap between installments. There are different types of plans including Winter and End of Winter plans.

Roles and responsibilities:

Description of the Project

As a third party agent, named KUBRA came to the system frame, all the existing customers without any pending payment wanted to migrate to the KUBRA application. Migration made possible using a very complicated dozen of mainframe jobs.

Existing Payment posting jobs also changed a lot as there are AM CASH jobs and PM CASH jobs running in two different times. Also introduced a couple of Reporting jobs, Payment enrollment job, and Payment de-enrollment job.

Roles and responsibilities:

●Played a junior Mainframe Developer role.

●Involved in design, development, testing and implementing the mainframe jobs.

●Understanding the Business requirements and Impact analysis.

●Involved in project discussion with the team to consolidate and to report project status and requirements.
