RESPONSIBILITIES: AS HSE MANAGER

To implement the strategy for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.

Regularly review and update existing Health & Safety Procedures.

Communicate effectively with external colleagues (Health & Safety and Environment Authorities, Local National and International Authorities, Clients representatives, Sub-Contractors, etc.), ensuring a coordinated and compliant approach to Health, Safety, and Environmental management.

Manage a dedicated audit and inspection program.

Monitor the implementation of the HSE program.Assist Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Engineers in promoting a preventive approach within their respective workgroups.

Execute periodical audits and inspections on site, and address appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Prepare audits and inspection formal reports and verify the follow-up.

Guide and facilitate the investigation in case of accidents, incidents, and near misses.

Collaborate closely with Employer Representative concerning HSE issues.

Monitor regularly the HSE performance through the dedicated KPIs.

Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures for the project evolution.

Update the HSE documentation during all the construction phases when deemed necessary.

Provide a site HSE Training program, coordinate and directly participate once required.

Meetings, prepare the appropriate MOM.

Coordinate the PTW procedure.

Keep accident records, identifying the areas to which prevention must be address on an immediate basis.

Lead and coordinate the activities of the Site HSE Committee (composed of all Project HSE Representatives).

Lead and coordinate the site emergency response team and fire prevention/fighting team, organizing training and emergency drill mock activities.

Provide the HSE section of the periodical site and Project report.

Prepare and update the Site HSE Statistics and verify the performance versus the Project and corporate HSE Objective, Targets, and performance indicators.

Propose/Prepare a recovery plan in case of deficiencies.

Perform all the remaining miscellaneous work relating to health, safety, traffic, fire, environment protection, and sanitary matters.

Identify and assess the employee welfare needs in coordination with the Welfare officers.

Direct the welfare activities for employees and recommend the area of improvement to the management.

Responsible for preparing the WORKERS WELFARE STANDARDS (WWS) self-assessment and rectification Plan, as per project standards, and producing written and verbal reports as per organization procedures.

Design Build and Operate Al Dhakhira Sewage Treatment Plant and Associated Pipeline Road & Infrastructure The project's scope of work involves the construction of road infrastructure, sewage treatment facility (STF) with a capacity of 56200 cubic meters per day at Al Dhakhira, Al Khor, Qatar. The new treatment plant located on the east coast of Qatar, some 60km from Doha, will handle an average flow of 56,200 m3 per day and provide service to more than 200000 residents. The project will deploy the latest technology in sewerage and wastewater treatment, using more than 35 kilometers of pipes, with peak flows (with maximum wastewater treatment) of 168000 cubic meters and a wastewater tank with capacity for 84000 cubic meters.

Life Extension of Well Head Platform at Mumbai Offshore Basin INDIA (Oil and Gas Construction) The scope of the work was engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of well-head platforms of ONGC. The Contract includes a new platform providing gas processing and compression, a nine-slot wellhead platform, a new living quarter platform, topsides modifications on existing platforms, and associated subsea pipelines. 4 Page

Local Roads and Drainage Program at Doha North QATAR (Infrastructure) Construction of Roads and Infrastructure works and other related works i.e., Surface Water, Foul Water Drainage, TSE, Utilities, and Landscape works. Snapshot-Laying of different diameter pipes by open-cut and micro tunneling. Construction of the Roads and Underground Water /Electrical utilities (manhole & chambers)/providing connection of newly constructed line with existing utilities, i.e., KM-Water/Electrical (Traffic Signals and street light works), QAF, Ooredoo, ITS, etc.

Midfield Terminal Building Project U.A.E. (Infrastructure) The project calls for the construction of the Midfield Terminal Building (MTB) of Abu Dhabi Airport. The 700,000 square meter terminal building is one of the strategic infrastructure projects to be undertaken in Abu Dhabi, and will initially handle 30 million passengers per year. The terminal will be the home of Etihad Airways.

Abu Dhabi Polymer Company (Borouge) LDPE & PO Project. U.A.E. (Oil and Gas Infrastructure Construction) The scope was Construction and Commission of 2 no. polypropylene (PP) plants & 1 low-density polyethylene (LDPE) unit. Engineering firm Bechtel is providing management support for the project implementation. Borouge 3 includes constructing an ethane cracker, two polyethylene (PE) plants, and surrounding infrastructure.

Tata Motors Town Ship Water Distribution (O&M), Jamshedpur INDIA (Operation and Maintenance) The scope was installing a pipeline length of 108 Km of 24” diameter, excavation depth at 6.5m and 5.5 m approximately and constructing four nos. of the pumping station, one station pumping at every 25 Km. Surge tanks for sludge removal for stabilizing water. The reservoir capacity is 200 million liters, 65 million liters, 85 million liters & 7others.

Az-Zoor South Power Generation and Water Distillation Operation & Maintenance KUWAIT 5 x 160 (GT) generating 800 MW OCGT. 12 MSF distillation units produce 81.6 MGD of desalinated water. 5 numbers of pumping stations & 2 numbers of wastewater treatment units under this facility.

ABJ Kharafi National Company KUWAIT (Fabrication Unit) The specialized fabrication work for Pressure Vessels, Columns/Towers, Process Equipment Modules, Modularized Industrial Structures like Pipe racks, Piping & Valve Skids, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Packaged Evaporator & Deaerator Units for Desalination Plants, Pre-fabricated Pipe spools, Shop fabricated Tanks, Architectural Roof Structure for International Stadiums.

Saudi Kayan Olefin Project-2, Jubail KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA (Construction of Petrochemical Plant) The scope of construction was road infrastructure, 8 tanks for DM Water, Fire/Service Water, MEG, Crude storage, and a tank for Mixed Butane Storage for Offsite and utilities at Jubail Industrial City, KSA. The total storage capacity to be constructed is 182,800 m3, including External Floating Roof for Diesel and Gasoline Tanks, External Double Seal Floating Roof, Umbrella Roof Internal Floater for Paraxylene, and Cone Roof for Fuel Oil.

Doha Urban Pipeline Relocation Project QATAR. (Oil and Gas Construction) Project Scope is road infrastructure re-routing of some multiproduct pipeline and hooks it up with the existing pipeline without disruption of flow by hot tapping. 36” Dia pipeline of 84 km, 8’ Dia pipeline of 3 Km, 12” Dia pipeline of 12 Km Micro tunneling of 5 roads crossing in hard rock and modification of the 5 numbers of existing stations, upgrading the existing and installation of new telecom network including the design of fiber optic communication network. Decommission of abandoning the current gas and oil lines of approximately 140 km and 6 stations.

New Doha International Airport Project QATAR. (Infrastructure) The scope was to construct a jet fuel receiving station, pumping facilities for the jet fuel to above-ground storage tanks, and distributing fuel through an automated control pumping station to various aircraft loading points. Simultaneously, build 2 number of ground service equipment fuelling stations along with parking facilities and seventeen utility buildings with matching airport architectural features.

Saih Nihayda Pipe line Project OMAN. (Infrastructure) Construction of 4 X 10” DSS Bulk Lines, 11 X 8” DSS Flowlines and CMEI Works for Terminals, Well Heads and Midline Tie- ins.265kms of gas pipeline and associated 8 nos. of block valve stations to transport natural gas from Saih Nihayda to LNG Plant at Qalhat, near Sur.
