I work at a treatment facility that houses South Carolina's Sexually Violent Predators. This SVP Treatment Facility houses men that have completed their prison sentences and have agreed to a civil commitment to get treatment at this facility. They are under secure management and monitored by Custody Officers, Residential Treatment Assistants (RTA), Clinical Therapists, Psychologists. Custody Officers are the 1st line of defense at this facility. This is where they live until their civil commitment is completed without incidents. Their release has to earned and approved by the psychologists and the judge.
