Rane Engine Valve Limited, Trichy From May-2015 to Nov-2020, as a role of Operator and line management.

ABOUT WORK INDUSTRY :

•Rane Engine Valve Limited is one of the leading automotive company in India and also one of the TQM industry and leading exporter of engine valve train components.

•Plant is situated near Trichy and presently having 12 manufacturing lines with the capacity of 16 million valves per annum.

•Quality systems Accomplished: ISO9002, QS9000, ISO14001, TS16949.

•Major Customers are Volkswagen Germany, Volvo, BMW, Hyundai, Honda, HeroMotors,Tata cummins, Ashok Leyland etc.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Handling HMIL and MSIL customer lines.

•Execute the given production plan against SRP and following machining processes.

•Adhere production qty o f 5200 no’s/shift.

•Communicate team by conducting daily DRM and create safety, quality awareness among the team.

•Reducing Rework & Rejection Levels through QCC projects and Suggestions for the continual improvements.

•Control product quality through PMC, FML&FOA.

•Monitoring Hourly output for bottle neck machines.

•Implementing Poka-yoke system inprocess.

•Analysis and corrective action(PDCA) for Production GAP & Daily Rejection.

•Customer audit handling.

•Analyzing and reducing the consumables costs & 5’S planning and executing.

INDUSTRIAL ACHIVEMENTS AND PROJECTS:

• Won award for Best 5S execution in MSIL line.

QCCProject1-Reducing the cycle time from 14.5sec to 9.1sec in IH machine by changing and

•Implementation of quenching system design.

QCCProject2– Increasing the dressing frequency from 7 no’s to 12 no’s in Seat grinding machine

•By reducing the input stock from 450microns to 250 microns by changing the bottom die at Forging stage
