I have been a caregiver almost my entire life. I’ve helped families with their family members that were passing. I was liked so much I was requested personally, to take care of families loved ones more often than most. I have great customer service and people skills and I am quick to learn. I can work with a group or alone. I am not afraid to put myself out there when learning. I am not afraid to take lead or follow if I have to.

LICENSED NURSING ASSISTANT

Provided care for people from teenager to elderly. Did all their daily living activities with them. Made residents feel as if they always had someone. Provided treatments and made sure they were happy and comfortable. Provided companionship. Answered phones and provided a connection with families to residents. I was able to work alone or with other staff. Reported to my charge nurse important daily activity and pain levels. Documented cares in the computer system and made sure that all residents were comfortable and happy for any shift I worked. I worked all shifts almost all the time I was asked and I also worked a lot on my own.

Took blood samples from patients that the doctors and nurses had ordered. Printed and labeled the tubes and got them to the lab for testing. Stocked and made sure all stations were ready to go at all times to keep from making people wait a long time before being called in to get their labs done.

At age 14 I volunteered at different hospitals to go around and give patients water and provide companionship to the ones that wanted it.

I did this every day after school for about a year.

I volunteered on horse farms to help out take care of the horses in return for horse back riding lessons.

When I was 18 I did some book keeping and calling for a family members company. Booked events. Did inventory. Took care of putting cash on the books and helping do pay role and called for staffing.
