Working as a control room technical operator at Binacchi Soap Plant (BSP) at Pwani Oil Production Ltd Kikambala.
Duties and responsibilities;
Submit internal work orders for equipment failures
Manage electrical and mechanical equipment and facilities with the competency of a plant operator
Provide control room operations training to outside operators
Train new operators on the control room operations
React appropriately and in timely manner to any production or safety-related alarms
Safely and efficiently shut down and restart production when required, and accordance with the plant operating procedures and parameters
Liaises closely with maintenance team on the delivery of planned and unplanned maintenance activities
Reports any breaches of safety procedures to senior executive soap plant
Ensure production and QA details are properly recorded in the daily log book
Analyze production runs and make suggestions for improvement
Running and maintaining the required operational parameters for proper saponification of the soap and its associated products.
Ensuring that SOPs are followed by the line operators when operating the production vessels (safety of the machine)
Ensuring that the quality of bars and noodles is maintained as per the QA specifications.
Writing and submitting the daily production report.
Writing and submitting monthly material balance report
