●Astrocyte Remodeling Project
Construct and evaluated an astrocyte hydrogel scaffold with qualities similar to human brain tissue.
Gathered and cultured mice astrocytes prior and after simulated traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
Modified and executed RT-PCR and fluorescent microscopy of the cultured mouse astrocytes for inflammatory markers and cell viability in post-traumatic brain injury cells.
