Responsibilities Handled
As a Tester and Application Support Engineer the responsibilities handled are as follows:

Description
Focus is an in-house developed application of BNP Paribas which is meant to capture the OTC Trades (Over the counter) and provide better solutions for regulation of trades which are not listed in nationalized stock exchanges in a particular country.
The trade submitted has to follow ISDA (International swaps and derivatives association) standards implementing FiML and FpML.
Focus application is used by BNP Paribas traders. Historically, In an OTC derivative market the unregulated trades causes economic imbalance. BNP Paribas is one the Federal 14 bank to authorize such OTC trades.
Focus talks to external systems via specially designed FpML xml file. Various complex aspects of a trade are incorporated in FpML file.
