Project Summary:

Worked on Implementing a prototype for assessment of real-time and historical data of medical claims/electronic health records, storing large unstructured datasets in NoSQL database and using MapReduce to analyze and direct patterns which helps medical practitioners to find out the best treatment plan for a set of patient populations or an individual patient. Hadoop is an Apache open source framework written in java that allows distributed processing of large datasets across clusters of computers using simple programming models.
