Title 1: Specific Design of an Ornithopter

Description: To promote flapping wing design that is manufactured by having three flapping sections instead of entire section of the wing and to study all the aerodynamic characteristics of the wing designed for three cases in a low speed wind tunnel. Case 1: When the three flapping sections are fixed. i.e. the wing is in in dynamic motion. Case 2: When the two flapping sections are in a fixed position and the other flapping section is in motion.

Case 3: When one of the flapping sections is positioned as fixed and the other two are in motion. Title 2 : Structural and Thermal Analysis of Sandwich Structure over the Aircraft Wing Description: To promote a Sandwich Structure with the following configuration which can have good Mechanical and Thermal Properties and can have high load bearing capacity Configuration 1 : Aluminum is used as face plate and balsa wood is used as core material Configuration 2: Fiber glass is used as face plate and aluminum is used as core material Title 3 : Numerical Study of Secondary Air Flow System in Small Gas Turbine Engine Description: Secondary Air Flow System in small gas turbine engine to prevent hot gas ingestion in stator rotor wheel space and controls axial bearing loads using a reference design from an ongoing project in CSIR-NAL, two different cases with change in number and location of seals are considered. The computational Study is carried out using ANSYS-CFD suite consisting of ANSYS MESHING tetra and ANSYS-FLUENT 18
