I am writhing to express my interest in the Senior Scientist position. I have been a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for 18 years with the last 10 years working exclusively in Microbiology. This includes almost 5 years working previously for NSPHL. I also have experience as a Generalist, Coagulation Technical Specialist and Hematology Technical Specialist. I possess a current Nevada State General Supervisor License and ASCP Board Certification.

I am extremely excited about the position offered because NSPHL has been such an integral part of the community health, especially in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. I believe the resources and the commitment this institution has to the community makes it the leader in patient care. I would be honored to be a part of this organization as it carries public health in Nevada into a new and higher level of care, testing and epidemiological reporting.

As aforementioned, I have knowledge of the LIS, instrumentation, testing menu and protocols, proficiency testing, as well as quality assurance of the Laboratory. I would like to offer my experience and positive attitude to the team at NSPHL.
