Done A Mini project in the title of “Cancer Awareness among Urban Peoples”

The study has been emphasised that the socio-economic status and nutritional assessment of urban people above 50 age in the area of swamiyarmadam, Thuckalay and mekamandapam in Kanyakumari district. For our field study 50 samples were selected all are above the age 50,86% of people are having low income. They are leading a normal life style and they don’t having proper knowledge about cancer still they having lot of myth about cancer, But 98% of people told that Tobacco use is the main reason for cancer rather than usage of alcohol.

Done A project “Development and evaluation of different Candy from Aloe Vera for their Nutritional, functional and sensory qualities”

In the present study of qualitative and quantitative analysis of Aloe vera revealed many nutrients and active compounds including sugar anthraquinones, saponin, vitamins, enzymes, minerals, lignin, salicylic acid and amino-acid so the Aloe vera gel candy can be prepared using five different sweet syrup and the sensory evaluation of the formulated products were done by 15 selected panel members and the best candy was selected.
