• $40B plan put forth by the City of New York to protect Lower Manhattan from storm surges.

• Con Edison’s role is to protect underground transmission assets and strengthen a generation facility located on the East River.

Hudson Avenue Generating Station Demolition (Lead Engineer)

• $200M demolition of a retired generation facility. The project is being executed through a Design- Build model.

• Responsible for the project schedule including all milestones and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate, prepare and approve capital accounts sent to the Chief Executive Officer and President.

• Created the RFP for Design Build services and approved all technical requirements for the project. Bulk power energy storage – Lithium Ion (Lead Civil Engineer)

• Manage and supervise the civil engineering designs for the installation of new lithium-ion battery supply within the transmission system.

• Coordinate ties between third party vendors and the high voltage transmission system. NERC Physical Security Upgrade and Compliance (Lead Civil Engineer)

• Manage and supervise approximately $30M in physical security around sensitive bulk power facilities.

Fulton Houses Community Center Renovation

• Lead designer for a $3M renovation of a senior center. The project required interaction and coordination with high profile stakeholders such as a NYC City Council and Mayor’s Office. Key Responsibilities:

• With minimal supervision from senior staff, produce construction documents for bid, construction, Department of Buildings approval and ACM/Lead abatement drawings as per protocol.

• Supervise one draftsperson in the production of construction documents.

• Coordinate and detail structural members and connections under the Deputy Director of Engineering. Ensure new vestibule/exterior wall designs and community center renovations are in conformance with local, state and federal energy codes (Energy Codes, Building Codes, ADA, ect)

• Review consultant (hired private AE firms) drawings for consistency and agency standards.

• Prepare and format documents specifically for the Office of Management and Budget to get approvals and prepare checklists for the senior architect and Deputy Director for procurement.
