Upgrade & expansion of refinery to process extra heavy oil including module fabrication for crude and vacuum unit, gas oil hydro treater, and OSBL. Worked utilizing AutoCAD 2006 to create detail drawings, junction box location plans and cable block diagrams, create Instrument cable spread sheet in Excel using SPR to calculate distances from junction box to RIE building, create trend master wiring diagrams, DCS & SIS system designs loading of fire and gas junction boxes. Grassroots Refinery and Petrochemical Complex. Fluor provided project management services for a refinery/petrochemical complex as well as engineering, procurement, and construction management services for selected scopes of work focused on the utilities, offsite, infrastructure and Sulfur units for the complex, which is expected to have the capacity to refine up to 7 million metric tons of crude oil per year. Exporting AutoCAD drawings, to Chalmlite Street lighting software for calculations, on plant lighting locations, junction box locations and cabling. Using AutoCAD to cut area key plan and plan drawings from overall plot plan for area classification, worked with Engineering on the area classification in multiple areas of plant, using Smart Plant Review to determine locations of buildings, valves & specific pipe rack applications for the area classification. The project includes a new crude/vac unit, hydrocracker, coker, NHT, CCR, KHT, sat gas, and sulfur block to enable refining of sour crude at a grassroots 190,000 BPD refinery. Responsible for instrument location plan drawings in OSBL process utilities, checking for proper instrument locations, junction box location, conduit fill and conduit routing to each junction box. Printing reports from INtools and updating the INtools instrument index. Using AutoCAD2004 to create wiring diagrams, instrument locations plans, fiber optic routing, Conduit routing, cabinet layouts, junction box locations, block diagrams and plant air drawings. Using Intergraph Smart Plant Review (PDS) to locate and verify instrument locations for proper tap installation with piping line list.
