I was assigned to various department of this parastatal which includes Biotechnology department, Polymer Department, Fabrication Department, Pulp and Paper Department, Foundry Department and Ceramic Department.

My Roles were:

I was involved in the whole sequence of Unit Operations used for the process of Biodiesel Production.

Preparation of raw materials to be used which entails the removal of FFA (free fatty acid).

Performing the Trans-esterification reaction stage and ensuring the separation of mixtures and treatments of By-products (Glycerol and Salts).

Ensuring the quality of Biodiesel produced and its profitability throughout the undertaking.

I was involved in the unit process and operations needed for the transformation of feed stocks to pulp and then to Paper.

Actively involved in the chemical pulping process which was the method used for pulp preparation in this institute.

Performed the delignification process for the pulp to be processed.

Performed the bleaching process to produce white paper

Performed the screening and calendaring stages for the final paper product.

Reduction/Removal of moisture Content (Drying stage).

Also, worked with the institute's technicians and engineers to design, fabricate and install various industrial machineries and equipment. Feb 2016 April 2016: INTERNSHIP Centre for Energy Research and Development, OAU Osun state. [CERD]

My Roles were

Daily monitoring and checking for pressure build-up on relief valves at the Nitrogen gas plant.

Trained on the use of Ultraviolet Spectroscopy to ascertain the chemical structures of Organic compounds.
