Responsible for dealing with landowners and seeing that all equipment, materials, contract heavy equipment, and personnel were moved efficiently and safely to perform planned work and emergency outages. Responsibilities also include oversight of substation and transmission line construction, safety of crew members and maintaining worksite protocol to ensure the owners’ specifications are met. Involvement also includes project coordination, proper and thorough reporting, and weekly safety meetings. Live line bare hand certified foreman/lineman experienced in distribution, transmission and substation construction, maintenance, and trouble shooting. Proficient in hot stick work for T & D, switching and tagging, energizing and de-energizing tap lines, decommissioning substations, grounding, rigging, reading blueprints and completing storm work.
