FedEx Supply Chain at the Dallas location warehouses products for Justin Brands in a 400,000 sq ft warehouse. My responsibilities are to manage a 15-person team of forklift drivers and a 15-person team of warehouse workers. I oversee the orders from Justin Brands and disperse them to the team drivers and oversee the flow to the warehouse workers and oversee the loading of the trucks for parcel and LTL shipments and Truckload shipments. Other duties include overseeing the packaging of the items and solving inventory problems and monitoring timecards and working with HR on personnel issues. I started as temporary employee through Express Employment Professionals and converted to a FedEx full time employ at the end of May 2020.

My responsibilities for the company included working with various departments to coordinate the flow of items won during the auctions, and to help expedite them to the customer. The various methods expediting included USPS, FedEx, UPS, and home deliveries. This job required working with individuals on packaging methods of fragile & odd shaped items. Other duties included purchasing shipping supplies and miscellaneous items for shipping and negotiations of freight rates with truckload, LTL, and small package carriers and research shipping issues and follow up with carriers with missing packages.

Weekly scheduling of trucks from various carriers to deliver the cabinet orders.
