Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare technical specifications and estimated prices for laboratories, facilities and training equipment in partnership with the engineers and managers of
concerned institutes and collages.
Prepare RFQs and receive quotations from suppliers for direct purchase orders.
Prepare and handle all tender documents ( general conditions, special specifications and draft contract ) and address the authority of legal advice & legislation and central tenders committee for approval.
Receive and Evaluate all bids, ensure compliance with general and special specifications and send them to central tenders committee and state Audit Bureau.
Attend the central tenders committee’s meetings to answer the committee’s inquiries and companies
grievances.
Attend the state Audit Bureau and Pre-audit department meetings to explain the reasons for awarding and
rejecting bids.

Provide technical supervision & direction to the contractor on behalf of the ministry.
Confirm that the work is being performed by the
contractor in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract.
Provide all appropriate surveillance, inspection and acceptance activities as prescribed in the contract.
Maintain appropriate documentation of all contract actions taken in the post award period.
Responsible to establish standards of technical
specifications of various electronic, electrical and communication equipment relating to educational

Carry out onsite inspection to determine compliance of equipment with specifications.

Design, supervision, Commissioning, Installation, Training and Maintenance of equipment’s, Labs,
Workshops, Communication System,Office Automation and along with smart building design.
Executed various projects of different sizes under various PAAET projects running to the amount of
millions of Kuwaiti dinars
Also involved in Administering and directing budgets for new Labs workshops and Equipment’s and & Preparing Annual maintenance budget for labs & Workshops.
Experience in mentoring and training of new hires, junior engineers, Kuwaiti nationals at public authority for applied education and training
