1.Workholding and clamping
Designed a mechanical component using solidworks and generated tool path for manufacturing also designed the fixture and calculated the required Clamping force.
2.Design of Broaching tool
Designed a Round pull Broaching tool for a specific dimension by selecting the material of the broach, feed per teeth and cutting scheme and calculated the number of cutting teeth. 3.Design of Monorail Trolley wheel
Designed a trolley wheel for monorail, analyzed the strength of parts using solidworks simulation and determined the natural damping frequencies of critical parts in the trolley wheel assembly. 4.Conveyor Belt Mechanism
Designed a conveyor belt mechanism using solidworks to convey groceries up to 60kgs, Calculated the power required, and selected the chain drive mechanism for driving the flat belt. Calculated the chain and belt drive parameters according to the requirements. 5.Roller Conveyor
Designed a Roller conveyor mechanism for transporting steel plate up to 4 tons which will be used in steel manufacturing plants. Calculated the ideal diameter of the rollers and the chain drive parameters and power required. Designed and assembled the mechanism using solidworks.
6. Gear selector Drum for a Racecar
Designed a Gear selector drum for Sequential Gearbox of a Race car which uses 7 forward gears and 1 reverse gear. selected the appropriate material and designed the required components for the shifting of gears using solidworks.
