Worked with consultants in relocating two138 KV, 927MCM transmission circuits on steel poles with fiber optics static wire. Developed Engineering, material and construction specifications. Worked with pole manufacturer for foundation design, attended all meeting with consultant and construction companies and successfully commissioned the lines.

Planned, engineered and designed 34KV Underground sub transmission line in a duct bank, reviewing all cable pulling calculations.

As subject matter expert (SME) for city’s transmission network, participate in NERC regulatory requirement on system reliability within the department and with regional organizations. Review protection scheme for electric T&D facilities.

Perform thermal analysis on underground duct bank system to determine the actual line ratings for all 34kV lines. Perform Arc Flash Hazard analysis to determine the proper levels of P.P.E. required by Substation and Distribution.

Conduct system studies and reliability analysis utilizing SYNERGEE software and recommend system improvements. Implement new methods and procedures.
