Hardware test engineer responsible for developing the PCB boards by testing and debugging. Ensures all supports the application requirements, and developing test plans and ensured their computability with the design and performs failure analysis. Summary:
Role Description
• Create Plan & Reports by collecting requirements from cross functional teams.
• Build and Simulate Circuits in MATLAB.
• Analyze circuit designs on Battery Life cycle Tester PCB board, and test the circuit using tools to find the design failure, if failure occurs resolder the defect area and replace with new IC’s and perform all kind of inspection and connect the PCB board with the entire unit with full setup and run level by level testing.
• Worked on power electronics IGBT, MOSFET, GTO, Thyristor, SCR, diode, voltage suppressor and analog, digital coveters and low power electronics.
• Test the unit with Thermal and Humidity chamber, power supply testing
• Prepare test setups for Battery Life cycle Testing unit and connect to different battery packs for life cycle testing for lithium-ion battery
• Analyze the data after testing using python code, and do hardware design calculation for reducing offset and gain error, similarly do for all kinds of PCB board and perform IC level theoretical calculations
• Data’s from different battery are analyzed and do battery modelling using MATLAB SIMSCAPE and ZVIEW for battery design and calculation of different parameters from LITHIUM- ION batteries.
• Worked on Electronic load design and debugging
• worked on Embedded C ARM processor coding for temperature monitoring unit and have knowledge on software developing using ARM, Know-how of STM microcontrollers, interfacing circuits and communication protocols like CAN, SPI.
• Working experience in voltage and current mode control and compensator.4
