Job Responsibilities
Liaising with design department for Electrical & ELV installations to complete work in accordance with project specifications.
Follow-up with the purchase department for the timely Delivery of Materials.
Ensures all Method statements followed & Checklists done during the whole process of execution.
Supervise and control all the site activities on daily basis from start up to the handing over of the project.
Schedule and conduct the inspection and tests in coordination with the discipline engineers as per ITPs.
Prepare inspection test plans, method statement co-ordination with QA/QC manager in consultation with the construction team.
Site co-ordination with time management, planning weekly schedule.
Conduct inspection for all electrical material deliveries.
Conduct inspection of all ongoing activities for electrical installations.
Ensure that all works are carried out as per the approved method statements and drawings.
Maintaining all QA/QC records (Inspection request, Material inspection request, Installation check list, Test records etc.) at site.
Installation and services of Electrical Substation services, such as HV Switchgear & Transformer Erection, Bus duct, LV panels.
Ensure all equipments used are calibrated & with valid certificates.
Co-ordinate with design team to update the changes from client.
Maintain As-Built details for the final preparation of As-Built drawings.
Ensures installed services are accepted and approved by the respective consultants.
Ensure that the workmanship is up to the required level of quality.
Make sure that the best engineering practices are implemented by the execution team.
Completion of safety training, Electrical safety rules & procedure.
Completion of HSE training course such us, Permit to work (PTW) etc.
Identifying NCRs / Defects / Snag lists for Corrective & Preventive action on the same effectively.
Completion of Snagging & De snagging activities as well as final preparation of Hand over documents such as asset data base of the projects.
Academic Qualification
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE) "First Class" Department of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu - India (2002-2005).
Key Skills
Computer literate and well-versed in all MS Office.
Self-motivated, good organized Team player, capable of working independently.
QA/QC activities for MEP installation and approvals.
Certificate of advanced SCAFFOLDING and TAG INSPECTOR.
Man lifts, Boom lifts, and Scissor lifts operating, servicing and training.
